High school was a weird time for us.  We moved from our comfort zone in Berwyn (Morton West HS) to Clarendon Hills (Hinsdale South HS) in the middle of when Larry was a freshman and I was a sophomore.  We were maybe 12 miles from our home, but it felt like a different world.  A different high school.  Different clothes, different music, different people.  We hung on to our old friends, but we also made new ones.   These high school years are fuzzy for me.  I feel like I left my brother in the dark because I was so concerned about my own stuff.  But we had comfort knowing we had our history and we had each other if we needed each other.  We made good friends there. Friends we're still in contact with today.
